VFW POST 2015
2009 Post 2015 Patriots Pen Essay Winners
The Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2015 annual "Patriot's Pen Essay Awards", will be presented at the Performing Arts Center at Clear Lake High School. It will be part of the Terrace Middle School monthly assembly on Friday, December 17th, 2009 at 8:30 am.
This years theme "When is the Right Time to Honor Our Military Heroes?"
Fifty students participated this year and we especially thank all the students who participated and in particular Rob Alves teacher at Terrce Middle School for setting a new post record for entries.
The patriot's Pen Essay Contest is held every year with winners chosen at Post Level, District Level, State Level and the
National Winner receives a $10,000 award.
Emily J. Prather won 1st Place at Post 2015 with a prize of $150.00.

Seth H. Crail won 2nd Place at Post 2015 where her prize was $100.00.

Kenyan M. Donald won 3rd Place at Post 2015 with a prize was $50.00.

All three entries were submitted at VFW California District 16 level and Kenyan M. Donald won 2nd Place with $150.00 more for a total of $200.00
