Betty Lou Ratterree

January 11 1931 to April 24 2007


Betty Lou Ratterree,
passed away at her home on April 24, 2007 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on January 11, 1931 in Sacramento, CA.

Betty lived in Vallejo where she was a licensed childcare provider for over 13 years and always surrounded herself with family and children. Betty was a member of the Improved Order of Redmen and was past President of the Minnehaha Council.

Betty moved to St. Helena where she worked for the St. Helena Star for several years.

In 1993 she moved to Lake County where she was active in the VFW Women’s Auxiliary and was the photographer for the United Veterans Counsel.

Betty was known and loved by many in the Senior Centers in both Lakeport and Clear Lake.

Betty leaves behind her husband Griff Ratterree and their seven children, 18 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind one brother and two sisters. Betty was preceded in death by her father Dan Robison, her mother Ruth Mann and her son Gary Ratterree.

Memorial services will be held Thursday May 3, 2007 at 10 a.m.
